Silver Eagles

Silver Eagles are a great way to buy silver. They are available in “Monster Boxes” of 500 coins, Rolls of 20 coins or even individually.

They are extremely liquid.The ease of buying and selling make this Silver Dollar a winner.

Some dates are actually rae and since these are Silver Dollars there are a good number of collectors.

One caition.Many dealer sell these coins certified in high quality. Often they are price way in excess of their siver value. Remember once you start paying for grading you really lose all relation to silver. Don’t pay $100 or MORE for a graded coin and think you have something that is giving you silver hedge. Buying certified coins is usually a recipe for gross overpaying .Its not uncommon for a Certified Silver Eagle to be sold for more than $100 or $200  and only be worth $25 or so when you try to resell it.

These are great coins. If you want to buy silver keep it simple and buy these for a few dollars over spot.
